I am the associate producer for the Down In the Valley docuseries, which highlights the unique culture and communities of the Black South. I work collaboratively with episode directors and producers to identify compelling characters, and develop story arcs across all episodes. I also manage and ingest all third part archival material, while communicating with ZEROPOINTZERO’s music and legal teams to clear artwork seen and heard in each episode. In the field, I direct b-roll shots and character portraits, manage PAs and capture drone footage.

No One is Talking About

I was the associate producer for this VICE investigative documentary set in Colfax, Louisiana–a low-income, majority Black community. As a part of my research into the hazardous waste facility at the center of the investigation, I analyzed EPA reports, public testimonies, and lawsuits by the state’s environmental protection agency.

I also coordinated and conducted interviews with experts & impacted community members and secured appearance, location and materials releases from sources.

I supported the production of this VICE Media short on racial protests by conducting archival research, and identifying and organizing user-generated content ferom social media.

I worked on this Netflix documentary following the life of NBA superstar, Bill Russell. Utilizing my background as a researcher and journalist, I was responsible for identifying contact information for dozens of interviewees, and wrote questions for on-camera interviews. I also supported archival research on Bill Russell and Boston Celtics, and logged and organized archival media for the project as a whole.
